First mentioned in the 18th century, Brewery Bavaria is among the oldest breweries in the Netherlands. Linked by marriage between the Moorees and the Swinkles family, Bavaria was run by the latter since 1764, and they ensured that the business overcame all obstacles. To do so, they prioritized innovation and focused on market demands at every juncture. Bavaria’s consistent quality of its brew products stems from the fact that they have its natural water source along with a malt house, meaning its entire production chain is in-house. Their path-breaking innovation has been their alcohol-free beer. It was in 1978 that they exported the first alcohol-free beer from Bavaria Brewery to the Middle East.

The unique brewing method for the alcohol-free beer products is unmatched till date. Bavaria is now being led by the 7th generation of the Swinkels family who have introduced Swinckels’ Superior Pilsner to the world
